What a schedule does with occurrences it missed while the runtime was stopped. The module author is the one who knows whether occurrences are interchangeable: re-fetching today's exchange rates ten times is nine wasted runs, while "export the batch for hour N" loses data if an occurrence is dropped. Operators can override this per task.

Fields

Inherit = 0

Use the runtime-wide setting. The default, and what every existing task does.

Skip = 1

Never replay a missed occurrence; resume at the next future one. Right for anything that reads "the current state", where a replay just redoes identical work.

Replay = 2

Replay missed occurrences, one per scheduler tick, bounded by the catch-up window. Right when each occurrence does distinct work that would otherwise be lost.
